Dow Jones Global Energy Roundup: Market Talk, 4/26/21
Retail gasoline prices in the US are again inching their way
toward the $3-a-gallon level, with one report, the Lundberg Survey,
reporting an average US price of $2.96 a gallon. "The price penalty over
the year-ago point is now a towering $1.03 a gallon," the report says,
citing higher crude and ethanol prices as fueling the price-rise.
"Retail diesel fuel prices have been shooting up, too, and via the giant
trucking sector are contributing to hikes in prices of groceries and
most other consumer goods."
